American Shetland Pony Featured in 2008 Hodges Badge Catalog
Morton, IL- An American Shetland Pony, Pan’s Atomic Particle, graced the well-known 2008 Hodges Badge Company Catalog. The Hodges Badge Company, Inc. held a contest for the best combination of a horse and rider wearing a Hodges Badge ribbon. The photographs submitted were judged on suitability for use as a catalog cover and/or distribution throughout the catalog.

American Shetland Pony, Pan’s Atomic Particle, ridden by Tess Zywczyk proudly cantered around the ring in their victory lap with the striking Championship rosette and sash swirling around the pony’s neck. Pan’s Atomic Particle and Zywczyk won the Junior Rider Intro Level Dressage Championship at the Vinceremos Therapeutic Riding Center’s Benefit Show. “We were thrilled to have an American Shetland Pony represented in the catalog,” said Johnny Robb, Marketing Director of the American Shetland Pony Club (ASPC) and Miniature Horse Registry (AMHR), “The ASPC has been in the US since in 1888, and the ponies continue to improve. It is important that representatives of our breed are out in the mainstream.”
