Glad to hear the mare is going to someone that can afford the medical treatment.

Has she gotten worse?

NO...Blondy..she has not gotten worse. She is being taken care per the instruction of the Vet.

With age comes wisdom ...and now is the time for you to stop trying to stir the pot and take your fingers away from the keyboard. You and the others can do nothing good by posting anymore on this issue.

Jazzy..for the sake of keeping on of this on track would you please lock all of the threads regarding this matter and ask the other to show some self restraint for starting another.

Well PaintedAngel-I have no issue with Amber's dogs besides the one black and white one whom she has said she has had awhile.

There is a reason the dog is skinny-either she isin't feeding her (she says she is) or there is a medical issue with the dog. Either way, it needs to be addressed because a dog should not be skinny like that.

Thin is one thing-which most of her dogs are, they are hunting dogs, so, in actuality, it is healthier for them to be thinner than some fat pigs like I see some dogs are.

BUT, the black and white one is wayyyyyyy to thin. You said there is no weight issues with any of her dogs. You really believe that with the black and white one?

Blondy what is your purpose here. Do you have no self control at all. Go outside brush your horses, play with your dog, just do something besides trying to bait her into another fight!

YOU ARE DOING NO GOOD WITH CONTINING TO POST AND STARTING MORE THREADS.

Not doing any good?

I agree that the other dogs look fine-but the black and white one needs help!

it the BUT!!!! You always have to toss in the BUT

Blondy don't you get it. Just please leave her alone. Don't mention her dogs, horse or name. Just let it go for god sake.

Let the actions that are motion take place without putting more bumps in the road.

I'm done!

PaintedAngel--I applaud you for your continued efforts to help this girl. And I applaud those others who have donated money and feed to help out. My "issue" with TNA is that it is an ongoing problem. She comes on here asking for advice and opinions and help and when she either doesn't get the answer she wants or get "bashed" she moves on. The problem with "helping" her is that it is not help--it is enabling her to continue to "use and abuse" horses, dogs, people etc. She is not financially equipped to have the number of horses that she has. She is a low-dollar horse trader. She either buys or trades low-dollar horses and gets the same in return. She has been known to trade young horses for furniture. Her reputation as a horseman has taken yet another hit. You yourself have advised her, quite smartly, to stop bringing new horses in and focus on the ones that she has. Obviously she hasn't heeded that advice. I do feel sorry for her horses, dogs, family, but I think the time has come to stop enabling her and make her stand on her own. If we help with this mare and get her healed, there will be more to take her her place in a months time--I can guarantee that!!!

I agree. While it is very commendable to want to save this mare-there will be more of her in her place unfortunately.

I really am not saying this to be mean-but that is the truth. I really was very truthful in regards to the dogs-cause I truley believed that there were starving dogs all over her property-which is why I really dug in.

But the fact remains is the mare needs to go to someone that can afford her continued medical bills (which Painted Angel has already said will be happening). But some sort of help needs to be done with the black and white dog.
