Ranch Sorting at Lecanto Arena

Is anyone going to Ranch Sorting in Lecanto saturday night?
Has anyone sorted there before? If so- how is it? How's the cows?

The cost is $10.00 for 2 rides-and they had a really good turnout last saturday. They do it ever saturday-unless they get rained out.
They had good cows too. They start at 7pm.
A few of us from Ocala area went and had a good time.

The cows are not easy, but they aren't crazy either. There are only one or two teams a night that sort all 10, my best so far has been 8. We may be going this Saturday if the weather looks OK.

Are there ppl that go that aren't very good? I'v never done it before and I don't want to make a fool of my self lol

hey aqhaktberry3, not sure where you are located but I great place for beginners is Pete's in Plant City/Thonotosassa. We're going this sat, he has practice every sat night. Only cost $10 to ride all night and he's got easier cows for newbies. Do a search, we've posted about it alot before and we post directions.

No matter where you go- You Will NOT Make a fool out of yourself!
Everone has to start somewheres-and let me tell ya- I'm no pro- by no means-I am still a beginner-but havin lots of fun doing it!!!!!
And besides that everone will help you-and talk you through it and show you how to do it!
So- go and get your feet wet- you will have so much fun! But beware---it is addicting!!

I don't know where you are located-but the Lecanto arena is located off
of 491-which if you're comin from Ocala-you can take 200 all the way to 491.
