- October 2, 2010 (Saturday)-
Eagle Rock Equestrian Club semi-annual charity Poker Trail Ride begining at the Florida Agricultural Museum and winding through beautiful Princess Place Preserve in Flagler County.
The best poker hand wins $100. There is a donation of $10 a hand per rider or hiker, and you may buy extra poker hands to benefit selected charities. After the ride, there will be great food and drinks for purchase, a silent auction with horse merchandise, a gift bucket raffle, and a 50/50 drawing. Click HERE for more information.
- Oct. 23, 2010, 13th Annual Mystery Map Event, Saturday, 8am - 2 pm. This year's theme is "A Day At The Beach", a fun event with theme obstacles - food- silent auction - booths - Seminole Feeds Horse Scales - Prizes and more. Riders try to match a Mystery Time set by a Mystery Rider earlier and sealed. Since time is a Mystery any one has a chance to win, so enjoy the trails and the obstacles with your horse. - October 31st, 2010 (Sunday), the Suncoast Trail Riders will host their annual poker ride at Lake Panasoffkee, Wildwood, Fl, highway 44 west of I-75. - November 6th 2010 - 6th Annual Poker Ride & Campout for the St Sebastian River Preserve State Park. $20 for your first hand, $5 for each additional. Includes lunch, door prizes, and awards. Camping available November 5th through 7th. Camping is $8 per person, per night, registration required for campers. The event will be held in the NW section of the Park (same as last year) at the Visitor's Center. All proceeds benefit the St Sebastian River Preserve State Park's recreational and conservation efforts. The Park is located off of CR 507 in Fellsmere, south of Palm Bay. - February 26th, 2011 (Saturday)-Trail of Hearts Benefit Ride - in North Florida at McCulley Farm through 2000 acres of trails along the Withlacoochee River. Come enjoy free BBQ, Poker Run, and the beautiful trails. We will also have a demonstration by our clients that participate in therapeutic riding. Graceland Ranch Monthly Rodeo – first Saturday of every month - Rim Road, Sarasota, FL 34240. Events include barrel racing, poles, team roping, and 4 times a year bull riding. Graceland Ranch is a non-profit organization supporting children and orphans in the Sarasota area, Florida, the United States, and around the world. Punta Gorda Horseman's Association Hunter/Jumper shows located at the Carmalita Park Sports Complex on Florida Ave. in Punta Gorda. Show starts at 9:00 am. PGHA is a family oriented organization with a motto of Partners in Promoting Youth Development. We offer a great variety of classes/divisions for the beginner to the advanced rider including Leadline, Walk, Walk/Trot, Short & Long Stirrup, Jumper, 2', 2'3" and 2'6 & over classes as well as a Marshall & Sterling League Children's Medal Class. All shows are free for spectators so enjoy a day outside and come see what we have to offer. Last year we gave out over $30,000 in Year End Awards between our three disciplines.
